Join our team and you can make a positive impact on the lives of others. At ACL Home Care Services, we believe that compassion is not just a job but a way of life. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our clients and are looking for individuals who share our priority for compassion and superior care.
Homemaker Services
Homemakers perform various household tasks for clients in their homes. While they do not provide direct, hands-on care for the functional needs of ADLs (activities of daily living), they play a crucial role in communicating performance concerns and making recommendations to healthcare staff and interdisciplinary team members. The Homemaker job description is subject to amendment at any time.
Personal Care Attendant
Under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator, the Personal Care Attendant (PCA) provides non-medical basic care for clients. Attendant care services are offered to participants with nursing facility level-of-care needs, and they involve direct, hands-on care for the functional needs of ADLs.
Like Homemakers, PCAs also play a role in communicating performance concerns and making recommendations to the healthcare team. The PCA job description is subject to amendment at any time, at the sole discretion of ACL Home Care Services.
Structured Family Services
Structured family caregiving is an arrangement where a participant lives with a principal caregiver who provides daily care based on the participant’s needs. This caregiver may be a non-family member or a family member who lives with the participant. The principal caregiver, qualified to meet regulatory guidelines, offers support services and receives training based on the participant’s needs. They are compensated with a per diem stipend.
Structured family caregiving aims to provide high-quality care in a non-institutional setting, preserving the participant’s dignity and self-respect. It seeks to foster independence and adapt to the participant’s changing needs.
This service requires collaboration between the participant, caregiver, HCBS Medicaid waiver care manager, and structured family caregiving provider. It offers alternative long-term care options for those who meet the nursing facility’s level of care.
